Yeh....this weather pattern is too complex for me to really forecast well so,
expect a lot of weasel words today. There's a low pressure disturbance, stacked
less than 100 miles from a cold front. Normally either of those would gen
SW wind on approach, and the NW wind after they pass, but they're interfering
with each other, rather than enhancing each other because of proximity.
So I'm going with a muted version of yesterdays forecast, and frankly your best
bet today is going to be to the wind meters near your favorite location .
Grantsville might kick a little this AM in the 8/16M range until 11.DC might give up
8/16 from 11 until 2. UL might go north around 5PM for some 8/16 until 8. Couple
that with plenty of clouds and some water in the atmosphere, and you might get bupkis.
Tomorrow, this mess moves far enough east for some pretty
good Sulfur Creek 5/10M conditions PM, but I'd look for that early afternoon,
because rain will come in early evening.
On Tuesday, we're looking at some pretty consistent strong winds at Utah lake.
