Forecasts will resume next Weekend

As of noon, the NWS point forecast was calling for, "Sunny, with a high near 61, calm wind." (Craig, we need you!) But then the branches started to stir, and by 2 the gusts were getting into the high teens. Initially quite steady, becoming progressively more gusty. The water level continues to rise, but DC is still several feet short of full. Water temp not too bad.

Really, there's an interest? Here? I got the impression from both windsurfers and kiters
that everybody had moved on to facebook, and there was little interest here, or anywhere
for a forecast.

I'm game for one more season, if there's interest.

Craig I read your forecasts whether I can get out and go or not.
There are a few of us that do not have a Facebook account even
if another forecast exists. I think there are a number of users
on UWA that view the posts but choose not to post themselves.
So please keep your forecast coming if you have the time and desire.

Well OK then, there is still a little interest in a forecast, so I'll start in earnest this coming weekend with daily forecasts.

Tomorrow looks like a sunny Utah lake day for 12M Kiting (maybe 10M around noon) on a pretty steady
North wind from 11 until 4, if you can survive the peak air temp of 54 degrees around the time the wind
backs off late afternoon. Should be good all over the lake.
