Wind looks very light out of the SE on hard, crusty pack with lots or mud, rocks, and bushes. May get some rides on big kites at Skyline under sunny skies.

Tomorrow doesn't look promising with even lighter winds.

Until we get more snow, there is a narrow window for decent riding at Skyline. The pack is so hard and crusty that morning riding is downright abusive. The pack softens up in the afternoon around 1 or 2 and is good until around 4:30.

Snow is in the forecast for Wed/Thurs. Keep your fingers crossed.

any news on amounts expected? i know the cottonwood canyons/PC areas are thinking the storm will miss to the south.. Is skyline far enough south to catch a heavier part of the storm coming in or no word on it yet?
