South winds will kick up this afternoon in front of an incoming front. If you want to go to PowMow, go this AM as it will nuke this afternoon (30+ with 50 - 60 mph gusts). AM winds should be in the upper-teens to low-twenties. Skyline is the best call today with wind in the low-twenties and gusts intot he high 30's (small kite), it will become more gusty, spiky as the afternoon progresses. Skyline promises SE wind in the low to mid-teens. You may have to drive around to get it and it may not be steady for long, snow will be slushy with temperatures around 50. With warmer temps, lightening is a really possibility, so if you see darkening skies or hear thunder, do yourself a favor and put your kite down. All locations may experience snow squalls as the front approaches

Thursday promises strong north clearing winds in the afternoon. Expect upper-teens to low-twenties at Skyline. Strawberry low to mid-teens. Snow flurries may linger into the afternoon.

Friday is looking like very light residual north wind at Skyline and maybe Strawberry.
