I know a location in the PC area that is at about 9500'. It's a huge grassy meadow in the summer. should be a decent base up there from the last storm and it is supposed to start snowing overnight sat/sun, with some wind from the storm on sunday. The downside is that it takes about a 40 min hike up to it from the parking area, but its not too tough as the hike is on a trail that is usually groomed for snow mobiles. Planning to head up there sunday, maybe in the 11-noon range. Post up if you'd like to go. Anyone with with a snow mobile would be especially welcome .

Anybody that might have been thinking of going, but was put off by the 40 minute walk, i went up there today and they still have the road open and plowed, so no walking required. There was a foot+ of snow, and almost no shrubs showing. Now we just need wind....
