First day out on my own, after lessons, with my new 2013 12m Rally.

Pulled in around 2pm. Not even a gust and glassy waters. Wind picked up around 3:30 and white capped around 3:45. Rode until the wind died down around 6:30.

I'd like to thank all those there that gave this guy some great pointers. Soon I'll be riding UPwind and won't have to run back on the shore...yay...

Not sure I caught or remember everyone's names. Feel free to post and RE-introduce yourself.

Mike, you got good attitude. Keep it up and you will be going up wind in no time. ;) Be careful with the water temperature though. Don't stay out too late by yourself. Mike Hill and I were a little worry when we saw your kite down that far out in the lake by 6 p.m.

See you again today!

Cheers,

Leo

Thankfully my wetsuit did it's job and cold wasn't much a concern when I was out there. I had a little tangle issue I had to sort out but was otherwise fine...growing pains...I'll get there soon enough.
