2/5 Pow Mow 10m Manta tele ski's
Posted: Tue Feb 05, 2013 10:56 pmWinds were trying to break 30 mph most of the morning and I almost went to Monte but headed to Pow Mow instead. Arrived @ 12 and the winds were reading low 20s out of the SW. Snow was not as good as I had hoped. Apparently it has a light crust over most of the riding area. A few pockets of pow though. About 2(?) Eric G showed up and we had the place to ourselves with the exception of the kite instructor Andy who had a couple students on a trainer. Left @ 3.
Keep watching the wind gauge- I think Monte is going to be ridable for the next few days. Watch for the Pow Mow meter to read at least 25-30 mph and then hit it. The area is vast.
