Not exactly the day I was hoping for but but at least it was planable for a while. When I arrived around 8:00 Ken O was going for a walk to the south end of Gville to see if it was blowing harder on top of the dam and it was. Using the ol`hat-O-meter method for measuring wind, ken reported it blew off when he reached the top of the dam. After hearing this latest scientific method for measuring wind we concluded it was safe to rig. 7.5 for me, 7.0 for Ken and 6.5 for Dimitrije. We got some decent rides for about an hour and then it dropped off and by 9:45 it was over unless you had a 10.0 in your quiver. Dimo and I hung around until 11:00 and it looked like it was picking up a little as we were pulling out. Anybody have some good stories about afternoon sailing at Gville recently?
