Headed back to Cabarete, Dominican Republic for the first time since learning to kite there in 2007. Kited 10/13 days on 12m and a few super-powered 17m days. What an awesome place. Great weather, wind and awesome people. Met up with the Dominican who taught me to kite and was able to do an awesome downwinder from La Boca to Kite Beach. The swell was huge and got my first real experience riding waves out in the reef break. Amazing the number of kiters in one spot. Had an awesome time and am already planning a trip back!
