The wind came up before I arrived at 12:30. It was blowing 9 - 12 meter condition and then it got really wacky. At some point, 7 to 17 meter all worked. One of the worst spring day I've experienced. The wind died down around 3 and came from all directions. Went down to ULLB and saw 7 to 13 meter condition. Not a fun day.

I had a great time!! 14 was a little on the big side as a 12m would have been better but all in all it was a keeper even if the wind was a little shifty with some big gusts coming through.

The conditions at DCCB matched Leo's description of conditions at DCBWB - short gusts, prolonged lulls, directional shifts. I rigged a 7M on my 96L board, which yielded a few brief rides and lots of floundering; felt very fortunate to make it back to the launch without having to paddle. George rigged, but after watching my struggles, wisely chose not to sail.
