5/27, Sulfur, 7.0/115L/135L
Heart set on a morning Grantsville sesh but without any meters it seemed like a fast way to waste a lot of gas. No regrets. 1.5 hours on the floater in typical rip and schlog Sulfur then 1.5 hour ragged-edge-to-overpowered and filled in shore-to-shore on the 115L speed board. Planing full speed from shore to shore left me with a huge grin and forgetting any thoughts about Grants. The water was too cold for the summer suit and the air was too hot for the steamer. Went with the steamer and tried to flush the arms with water once in a while. Sulfur is beautiful and green and the lake is full. I am too sore to be sailing this hard; my cancer-survivor wife hiked me into the ground yesterday in Little Cottonwood..
