I got to the lake a little before 2pm. There was certainly wind, but I decided it was light enough to justify rigging my 9.0 Retro instead of my 6.8 Hucker. That larger sail allowed me to plane through the lulls but became increasingly hard to control as the day progressed and the wind increased. The 6.8 (or smaller) would have been a better call. However, the water has warmed, the sun was bright, and I was ripping for two hour until my arms gave out. What a wonderful sport! There were two other sailers there on 6.5'ish sails doing well.
