The wind was already pretty strong when I get the at 2:20. It must have came up earlier. It felt strong and I put up a 9 meter. It was the right call. Asi, Dave, Jason M and I had a blast going up wind to hangout with the windsurfers. It was quite a workout at times even on the 9 meter. Hope for more the next couple days before it gets cold!

just my opinion, but the kiters who make Deer Creek work are the best riders to be found anywhere! :))

Ya Leo that was a great sesh!!! Probably the most steady, consistent wind I have ever rode at DC. Except for when I came into the bay at IB and my kite did an inverted 720 thingy. Scary, but managed to relaunch without any issues. Thanks for the props Obz but yesterday afternoon was one of those magical days where it was actually easy kiting at DC for all of us. It was a real treat to have the whole lake to ourselves. I rode 12m, Bob Allen on 10m. Hope to see everyone out today!!

Jason, you probably haven't been at DC much lately. Yesterday was anything but consistent! There were moments where 7 meter to 17 meter would all work. From IB going across is probably the more consistent part. Further up and it was a piece of work. There were moments where I questioned if I should be so far upwind with my 9 meter and a twin tip.
