Somewhat frustrating day. Started out looking very promising, leading John, Dave and me to rig 6.0s, Rob and Laslo 6.5s and George his brand new 5.8. Got a few good rides on the 6.0 but before long there was more slogging than planing. Finally, inspired by Ken's example from yesterday, I rigged my 8.5 and once again was able to plane most of the time. Still, not quite the nuker we'd been hoping for. Lots of kites.

Water temp is still a quite reasonable 60F.

Beautiful autumn day. Color changes and the low sun made for great sailing. Sailed the 6.5 and big board and was great in the early afternoon then it became more consistent and less wind so Jim had the right call to re-rig to an 8ish sail.
