4 sailors, myself, Tom Witke, Manuel Prieto (Spaniard new to area) and Pete Monaco (names spelling is questionable) on sails from 5.9 thru 6.5. Gusty, holey and holly s_ _ _ in the huge gusts. The First Divide recording shows it was 11 to 34 at 3:45 PM. I was slogging back losing ground about then and a huge gust at the last possible moment brought me upwind into the cove right by the little structure where we have the crawdad boil at the UWA outing. Since I made terra firma I quit while ahead. Lake still quite full, grass coming up on the cove side. Cool day, about 70 when I arrived around 11:30 and don't believe it ever got above low 70's.
