arrived at 1:00pm to see two sailors standing in the water. It was blowing over the hill from the east so I waited to see what would happen and slowly it started to clock around to the south. In the mean time Dimitri and this lady show up and we take out time rigging waiting for the wind to come out of the south and finally it does but not that strong, but finally it gets good enough to head out and we had a ok session for around an hour. could be one of the few sessions left in the season except for Southwick. Where were you
Southwick?

Other two sailors were Mike and Steve who had been braving the somewhat chilly water and fluky winds inshore for a couple of hours before we got there. J and I finally got into the water about 3:00 (new time) and, as George said, the wind had finally straightened out on the lake and was pretty consistent 7.5. We left the water about an hour later when George did (hey - if George gets out, it's probably time to call it, since it's going to die). But surprisingly, as we derigged and even had a wine and burrito picnic under the pretty fall willows, the wind kept blowing for another 90 minutes or so.

Southwick, where was ye?

I'd have loved to be out there, but unfortunately, I have a hand laceration that required stitches so I'll be off the water for a while.
