The only reason I was considering sailing was to get Day 100 for the year. Cold and cloudy but I had a great time (the meter said 50 degrees but my dash meter said 42, cold either way). The 5/4 steamer worked well, easy to say as I managed to sail 2 hours without going down. Was going to sail until I went down but the hands and feet got too cold. Poured the boots full of warm water but decided not to push my luck. The wind meter was down but my hand meter was consistently into the 20’s (Stockton Bar was in the 30’s). By the time I quit I needed a 5.2. Strange weather, I waited until the afternoon as NOAA said the wind was having trouble working its way down to the ground because of the inversion. Grants was 15 to 20 degrees warmer than on I-80. I could see the fingers of smog inversion reaching half way up to Tooele and apparently the inversion never did get blown out of the lower elevations.

Congrats! 100 days is an awesome achievement. That's part of the reason you never fell for 2 hours. I am sure fear of the cold water was also a factor.
