Posted: Thu May 05, 2016 9:47 pmLots of us waiting for wind and getting a few rides; John, Sarah, Patrick, Josh, Mike E, Mike A. At around 11 gave up on big wind and went out on 8.5. Started off schlogging 2/3 across lake, planning up in the corner and flying back across the lake before schlogging east again. But it filled in for a sweet hour of full speed planing the width of the lake. After the lunch lull it came in with ripping rides on the 7.0 in 25 mph gusts with an occasional schlog across the lake in the lulls. Not the day I expected but we have the motor home here camping so I was able to stay at it until 4:30 getting lots of sailing. Finally got hit by a 30mph downburst and bagged it.
