Posted: Tue Mar 28, 2017 7:58 pmNorth wind is usually pretty useless at DC as far as wind sports are concerned, unless the wind is actually out of the NE. Then all bets are off. Today was such a day, and while it wasn't great, it did have its moments.
As to lake condition, DC is almost at full capacity, and the water has warmed up to nearly 50F. Not much floating debris, possible because the water level has been very high for quite a while now. Good news for devotees of the Charleston Bridge launch - the access road was repaved last week.
