Ken, Patrick and I arrived at Grants around 8:30, to clouds, 48 degrees, and up and down conditions. Finally decided to rig 5.8/6.0. After one reach, ran back to my truck with my tail between my legs and rigged a 4.7, which worked just fine! Ken and Patrick went down to 5.2/5.3, with Ken finally going down to a 4.7 late morning. Pretty gusty, but strong, strong wind. Sun peaked out about 11:00, and helped contribute to a really good day. About 12:45, wind backed off, went back to the 5.8 for another good hour, then called it a day. Warmed up significantly which was very nice. The water is 23 steps from the fence, with a lot of snow still up there, NICE!... Tomorrow?
