A bit smokey, but otherwise a beautiful autumn day. The NWS was predicting: "Mostly sunny, with a high near 60. West northwest wind 6 to 10 mph", so my plans for the day did not include sailing. But then, at about 12:30, a faint breeze appeared out of the SW. Up and down, but with strong enough gusts to provide plenty of planing for a biggish board powered by as smallish sail.

Today's discovery: the era of the driverless fishing boat has arrived - two guys in the stern, nobody at the wheel, cruising along :((
