Posted: Thu Oct 12, 2017 7:22 pmA bit smokey, but otherwise a beautiful autumn day. The NWS was predicting: "Mostly sunny, with a high near 60. West northwest wind 6 to 10 mph", so my plans for the day did not include sailing. But then, at about 12:30, a faint breeze appeared out of the SW. Up and down, but with strong enough gusts to provide plenty of planing for a biggish board powered by as smallish sail.
