3/14/18, Grants, 7.0/6.0, 112L/86L
Posted: Thu Mar 15, 2018 10:18 amI started the season at Mojave and John in Hawaii but time to get back to Grants. Near 60 degrees air temp wasn’t a bad although I was afraid to measure the water temp. Greg also showed up for some foiling. Started on 7.0 in some pretty streaky winds but after a half hour it started filling in. Switched to the 6.0 and 86L pretty fast and had a great time. It was definitely 5.2 when I quit but not in sailing shape yet. Anyway, clouds looking ominous and ended up in a wild rain/hailstorm as I was finishing loading up. Nice start for the season. Lake is reasonably up but not full.
