6/14/18, Sulfur, 6.0/112L
One of the best parts of the afternoon was a guest appearance by Tom Smart. He thought the group that went to Grants this morning was coming instead to Sulfur today. He says to say hi to everyone. He made me feel like a wimp when he went out with his shorty (forgot his regular suit). John and I switched back to our spring suits for Sulfur. Got there at noon to some fairly decent wind lines. Typical rip and schlog but ended up with a ton of great runs by the time it quit around 4:30. Some of the wind lines were definitely 5.0 but the 6.0 was perfect for most of the wind. I considered switching down from the 112 to the 86 but the occasional long schlog ruled that out. Just perfect 6.0/112L most of the afternoon. Water temp high enough that it feels refreshing to go down, at least in the spring suit.
