Hope that pacu didn't mate with another pacu, or we could have some real problems. Even though it's an omnivore, stepping on one at SSB could ruin your day. I wonder what kind of mold was growing on Carl's flip flops, making it an appetizing meal.

i want my flip-flops back. those were my best ones. i got them at a wet t-shirt contest downtown a couple years back. incidentally, Rick H was there so I'm not the only one who is depraved.

as for the man eating fishes, holy moly. that's not the way to control the carp!

By the way, Carl, were those the best flip-flops ever!?!? It actually wasn't a wet T shirt contest! It was a REEF (tm) party down at some bar downtown... May as well have been a wet T contest... Reef is known for marketing using wells shaped female gloots! But I remember that, they threw out some pairs to the crowd and you and I ended up some of the lucky ones! Paul Beauhner's (a windsurfer in semi retirement;)) brother was the one who organized that by the way... He might be able to score you some new ones!!!

But, ironically, mine just gave up the ghost, and yesterday up at the Park City outlets, I found some flipflops to replace them. Reef stopped making the ones with the really soft spongy material... But Quicksilver makes them now, and they are even more comfortable ... Oh, at the Reebok outlet, there are some red flipflops that are all styrofoam... Easy to see on the beach and dry fast, and cheap! Got some of those too!

Finally, Pacu... I had some of those in my fish tank when I was younger... They are related to the Pirahna, but they are scared of their own shadows...

I was wondering what 'little kid' in Utah would have let a man eating fish into the lake.....it all makes sense now.

Its all good, I hear Pyranha only take small bites anyway, as long as there is not a school of Pacu, we'll probably be OK.

But it kills my theory of how safe fresh water riding is....mostly I don't like sharks and jellyfish.....and now I will kite in fear of the dreaded UTAH PACU!
