7/12 Rush & 7/13 Salt Ponds
Posted: Fri Jul 14, 2006 11:35 amRush was plush on Wednesday. Rode a 12M Waroo for 2 hours fully lit over 3 - 6" of water. Took the fins off the board and it was awesome sliding around on a finless board.
Salt Ponds were excellent last night - Rode from 6 - 8 on smooooth, steady wind. However, you need big gear for the salt ponds. It took a 17M foil and a Glide to get me going.
Water at both locations - perfectly flat. Saline content - Rush now around 20%, Salt Ponds 30+. Salt Ponds should be rideable on big gear today and tomorrow.
