I rigged a 5.8/112 for starters, and it wasn't long before I figured for my health and happiness I should rig down. Rigged the 5.2, and figured what the heck, jumped on the 85L board. Now that was much better. Big gusts, not many lulls, and really fun to be on the small board. Then Patrick arrived, proceeded to rig a 6.2 as it was the smallest sail he brought. I don't know how he hangs onto to that??? He said he was worried about his health and happiness (and the rest of the summer if he got hurt), but he hung on and made it work. Geez, Patrick is a lot stronger and braver than I am!!! Some of the prolonged gusts were definitely 4.7. Pretty wild day!
