9/20 Lincoln 20M
It has been a while since I had a good session. I rode for 30 minutes last Saturday on a 12 on a weird East wind at Utah Lake, but it just left me wanting more. I was bummed out when I arrived to a light drizzle. Billy was cleaning up some malt liquor that he spilled in his truck. We talked for a while about snowkiting and after 20 minutes or so Mike May pulls up. We talk a while longer and the rain stops. I climb up on my bumper and see a distant wind line. We all start getting dressed. Billy thinks that it is a sign to pump up his 16M, but Airtime didn't repair it properly. Fortunately, he has an 18M Nemesis that he bought for only 125 bucks that he is able to rig. I rig a 20 and Mike a 16M. The wind was not gusty, but it was more up and down than usual so I used my glide board. Fortunately, the rain clouds stayed away and we were treated with one of the most scenic sessions I have ever had. The cloud formations were awesome in the twilight and the reflection of the sunset on the water and clouds was breathtaking. We rode until after dark. Billy managed to land several 3's and he was stoked when he got off the water. All in all a good wind fix. Hopefully, we will be on the snow soon!
