May 22, Sulphur, 6.9, Carve 135
I was sitting in the garage trying to overcome some back spasms (too much high wind last week) when the wife offered to drive me to Sulphur. I was not going to turn that down. I had to find the Gorge rack, cull down to 3 boards and 4 sails and get the van civilized. Just a classic day at Sulphur. A little up and down 2:00 to 4:00 catching great wind lines and the usual schlogging. Then it filled in until 5:30 with wind that was all the 6.9 could handle. Not wild like Friday but a gorgeous afternoon of sailing. No one else on the water except a few fishermen.
