Wind was good all day out of the north. As the afternoon progressed the clouds diminished and the wind got stronger. I had 3 great sessions: Chicken Creek West, East, and Strawberry River. Snow got a little heavy during the warm afternoon, but we still found some nice snow. Glides were good at Chicken Creek West. However, the sage is starting to poke through again.

couldn't have asked for a better day. i was able to ride my 12 all day whilst others were on their 14s. snow was incredibly heavy and thick. i haven't seen snow that thick for such a depth. i think the snowboarders had the advantage off the beaten path yesterday.
Kenny- thanks for calling me. seriously. it was great to see everybody out there. Whit had an intersting device out for R&D....

It was a great day at Strawberry. I counted 15+ Kites out. People were going all over the hills and down the reservoir. Kenny was gliding, Marty was jumping the kicker someone built. Jason, Derry, Kevin, Paul, Mike M, Mike C, Jon M, etc, etc.

Snow was getting wet and deep but the wind stayed steady all day. I kited untill about 5:30 when it actually picked back up to 14mph.

At the end of the day, we took 2 vans to the ladders, Jon drove us back, then a bunch of us did a KILLER downwinder. Playing of the flats, on the shores and out to the island. What a great day, and fun crowd to kite with.
My first time with a kicker, man that was FUN, showing off for the cameras.

I saw a noboarding flick at the Banff Film Festival Tour. It was amazing how well those guys could ride big mountains without bindings. Sounds like an ill-logical progession, like kite skim boarding and surfboarding without bindings.
