Haha I loved that one!!
I drove past Deer Creek around noon with a big nothing happening on the water... Let's not panic. The bike was on the rack, I kept driving to Sundance where I rode the lift for some sweet mountain biking all afternoon until I noticed the top of the lift was getting some good wind!
Back to the lake (10' drive), I rig 8.0... By the time I hit the water (16h15) it was more like 6.5 and I stretched my arms playing with settings and trying fins head to head... 1 Hour later I was done tired leaving behind a wind getting unpredictable... So Ya that was sweeeet . The jetskis were very well behaved (outside the no wake zone!) and 4 others sailors were there!

We will have to thank John and Dimitri for the wind sacrifice!!!

By Monday I had had enough of chasing wind forecasts. With Goudie gone I should be happy reading a book, not adding hundreds of miles to The Skunk Factor.

Prepped the ski wagon, Trevor/Troy wanted a full Snowbird day, of course first in line. Pickup at 7:30am with a massive black storm line, who cares, I promised, I'm smelling like a skunk anyway. Its raining hard, press on up he Canyon, get under the Tram overhang so the lads can dress. 8am showtime, the TRAM closes due to lightning hits...skunks have tails, mine was between my legs, home back in bed by 830am. I stink, Goudie come home.
