Almost invariably on the day after a frontal passage, the wind at DC is still out of the SW, but horribly gusty (even worse than usual!) But it was actually the best day I've had so far this season! It looked pretty holey when I arrived at about 12:30, but filled in nicely by about 1:15, providing powered-up to VERY powered-up conditions for my HS96/6.6m^2 setup. I later switch down to a 6.0 just, as it turned out, as the wind was starting to back off and clock around to the North.
Definitely a bonus day!
