On the whole, a blustery day, but midday the sky cleared a bit and the wind got more consistent. Arrived to strong gusts and big lulls. By the time I got on the water, the wind had filled in, but at a level above the range of my 5.3, so I was mostly hanging on for dear life. After about an hour it degenerated back to gusts and lulls.
