Sweet photos, I think you may have been right about my boom height. However, I'm thinking 1 to 2 inches. I had alot of problems with my harness lines this morning and that pic shows me going along not in the lines. Plus, on about 20 jibes I was stuck in the harness lines as I fliped the sail, not good. Oh well, hopefully I will have it figured out tomorrow. Thanks again.

Tom, Thanks again for the great pics. It was great to be out with all the UWA folks and away from all the Gorge grousers. Our love of sailing follows us everywhere. And what a morning. There was enough wind to keep the little Sonic screaming most of the morning. I finished rigging right as the sun came over the Oquirrhs. It died back shortly after sunrise then 20 minutes later the dust was flying and we were all smiles. The sun was so bright coming up to the dike that I was blind while I was finishing the jibes and heading west again. It was an all around great sesh.

Hey Tom, thanks for the photos! I particularly like the one of me flying my rig and board back to shore. It's so much quicker to leap into the air with my gear and head for shore than having to sail everywhere. Glad you got some rides too.

Tom... also a big thanks for the great pictures... as the 12 of us were flying around the tub, it reminded me of the articles I'd read in Windsurfer several years ago, about the indoor windsuring contests in France... the only thing we were missing was blaring rock music, bright lights and a disco ball! What a fun morning!!!! Thanks Tom!

Hey,... how come no one kites at this windy place?

Dimitri: Was that one of the 37 duck jibes you were talking about? Or is that some new move you're working on?

Tom, great photos!!! Talk about a windlog entry.

doesn't seem to work too well for kites. Kenny has posted on it in the past I think. He's been a kite veteran for a while and can go just about anywhere but even he doesn't go anymore. too gusty. too rocky. too small. almost too small for pole boarders.

Dimitri, that duck jibe is a classic... Although it was better in person because Dimitri did a sweet 1 and a half front with a full twist after this. Very nice. High degree of difficulty. Like Nastia! BTW... Note that I saw Dim plane out of a number of sweet looking ducks.

Nice pics tom! What a great memory that morning is... It was reminiscent of the rush days when 112 or more sailors would be on the water. Maybe 112 is exagerated... Anybody have a memory on those numbers?

I love how on that duck gybe photo you can see the water coming up the other side of the sail and both feet barely off the board. I have a pretty good idea of how that one ended (from much personal experience).

Hey Tom...It`s Wednesday night and I just tuned in and saw your pictures. Great shots, but we`ve got to get some of you smacking those great jibes you were pulling off on tuesday. Hope to see you tomorrow! Grant
