Sailed all afternoon Saturday outside of Garden City on the 7.5. I was worried about the Hypersonic not having enough floatation in the low wind, so I borrowed an old seatrend 9'10 board. After playing on that for awhile I switched to the Hyper and became a convert. It was so much more fun and planed so easy--it just took a couple of days to get used to. Sunday started strong and I rigged a 6.2, but the wind died down after a couple of reaches and never returned. Monday the wind switched to a light north and when on a sailboat. Not really enough wind for the board, but I stopped by to see John D. and the boys leaving Sulfur with big smiles. I got suckered into rigging at 6:15 pm and the wind died on the first reach---Bear Lake water was the best of the week----
