Arrived to Lindon beach around 3pm to what looked like strong wind but could see a stronger windline further out. Brad came with only kite gear and Dana arrived a bit after we got going. Debated between 5.0 and 6.0 and decided to go bigger. At first I had to shlog out for a little ways and then it got big out there. After a while it was big all the way back in. At around 5pm the wind picked up to 30+ and Brad got off the kite and Dana and I were starting to get worked in the big wind and really big chop on our 6.0 sails. Sounds like others on the lake were not fooled by wind shadows and started small. Still got lots of good runs.
