Drove by wind at J-Bay to play with the regulars at DC. Drove by LOTS of whitecaps at Island to check out Sailboat where it was indeed 5.7. It dropped as I started rigging at 2:30, then came back in to provide bouts of white-knuckled 7.5 with maybe 20% lulls. Team Dubbock was out rippin' it up in fine style, as were Jim Deercrick, Mike H. Dave __ and Jerry G. Made a gazillion reaches and overheated in my steamer on this gorgeous warm day. Came in to get rehydrated and was saved as my water ran out by Paul B. and his excellent cold well water (thanks Paul!), then by Jerry and his most excellent New Belgium Black Ale (thanks, Jerry!). Gotta love your sailing buds!

Dimo et all,
Judi and I drove by the dam at about 12:30 and saw you all rippin it up but continued to island beach for a longer reach. Fred and Lanna, Dave, Paul, Carl and a few others joined the fray. Judi sailed her 5.5 with an 85L and I settled for a 6.5 and Techno. We sailed until about 5:30 or 6, when it seemed to turn off. It was great to sail in clean (relatively) water with no boat traffic.
