A big thanks to everyone who showed up at Lincoln on Saturday. Unfortunately the wind Gods did not smile on us, just a few off shore puffs and a little rain. To show our support for the Utah Summer Games and their fund raising efforts for Shriners Children's Hospital, we would like to try one more time. We are rescheduling the event for Saturday 10/5 same time, same place. Please reply to this post or send me a private message if you plan to attend. You can also preregister at http://usawindsports.com/wp-content/upl ... alForm.pdf. We need 10 participants to make it worthwhile. We will make a final decision on Thursday 10/3 based on weather and participation.

Am I correct that the money raised goes to the Shriners?

The money goes to Shriners Children's Hospital. I will post the paypal link for Utah Summer Games once I receive it. Anyone who pays the $25 registration fee in advance will receive credit for a future event if we are unable to hold this weekends contest.

Hi there,

We are going to cancel the Utah Summer Games event this Saturday due to a windless forecast and lack of interest. I suppose it's getting a bit cold and late in the season. I will post a link for contributions to Shriners Children's Hospital when I receive it, for those that would like to support the fundraising. My thanks to Peter M., Billy, Mark J., and Marty for their support trying to pull this event off.
