If you are headed to the Gorge this week better check on the status of the Rowena fire. The direction the wind is blowing it could eventually affect I-84/The Dalles. There is smoke billowing of the ridge east of Mosier that can be seen all the way from the Hatch.

we could smell the smoke in the air at Rufus. 6M day for me .Big Swell. You could also drive up the Washington side. Fire looks to be pretty much controlled this am. I'm in The Dalles.
