I am in the process of setting up a meeting with the Utah County Engineer & Commissioner's Office to discuss kiteboarding and our use of Utah Lake. What are some things that you would like to see discussed in this meeting and some outcomes from it? The more information and discussion topics & ideas we can take to the meeting, the more successful it will be.

Hi Andrew,

Thanks for taking the lead on this meeting. I think we all want to preserve access at as many launches as possible: Lincoln, SSB, Lindon etc. If there will be money for improvements rigging/launching areas would be at the top of the list. On the flip side county officials are probably concerned about safety issues and we need to be proactive in promoting professional instruction for beginners, no jumping near beach/beach goers, no jumping jetties, boats, etc. In short we need to be model citizens that want good access.
