UWA UPDATE

Hello Utah Windriders and prospective Windriders...

Through the years, the UWA has tried to be an asset for safety, knowledge, and efficiency to all those who have been drawn to the power of the wind in an individual form. Windsurfing, Kiteboarding, Snowkiting, etc. I hope that in some way it has benefitted you from where ever you have come. The website has been maintained in its current format for quite a number of years. Its coding is a bit outdated and its format a bit old. We have been looking at the options to maintain its utility but increase its efficiency. I personally am extremely grateful to all those who have contributed throughout the years to helping in this. Craig Goudie's weather forecasts for who knows how many decades, on this website, in this format have been invaluable.

Hopefully, those of you who have talents and abilities to offer may continue to step forward to help those who help direct the UWA.

We are a not for profit organization. We are in the simplest of sense, a club or association. That is, we are not an official non profit. We have never raised revenues to justify the expense of that.

MINUTES (formality)

I have spoken with the existing group of people, or board, who have contributed to the UWA organization and informed them that I effective today stepped down and will have Josh Shirley step in as Director of the UWA. I asked Josh to take over and he has accepted. The UWA board has approved of Josh Shirley as the UWA director.

Thank you. Rick Heninger.
