Anyone around here sail Strawberry or Bear Lakes? They look like good prospects on the map, but arent listed on your sailing sites posts.

Hey Tony, for some decent info and weather links for Strawberry try
http://www.ukbinc.com/utah_launch_sites.htmI'm not a windsurfer, so I'm not a real good resource about those locations.
Good luck...

I have fished strawberry for years and in the summer seems like the wind usually picked up at 11am and blew us off the lake, never tried windsurfing but would be a great place if you could figure out the patterns/thermals etc..
Bear lake I have been to the twice in last 2 years and sailed both times on thermals on the SW side of the lake near Sweetwater and garden city and rendezvous beach, it was a 1-2 hour thermal both times with big gears (9.0).. my cousins live in garden city and say that sailboats hit the water daily in the middle of the lake so there is some type of thermal usually going on.. It can't be that bad, there has been one pro, maybe Micah Buzianis that started windsurfing as a kid on that lake..
