People are constantly asking, "Where are good places to go?" or "That sounds cool. How do I get there?" So I made a map on Google Maps. Its called "UWA Places". I think I've set it up so anybody with a google account can edit it.
Here's the link:

So lets start adding some placemarks. List "water riding locations", "snow riding locations", "gear vendors", "instructors".
Craig, do you mind if I add this link to the top of your "local sites" page?

That is cool. I could actually tell a freind how to get to SSB and soon just about any riding location. Nice job, again. Think you could come up with a computer routine that would produce wind at a given location with a push of a button. Just jokin. Thanks, this is cool and very useful.

I started entering some locations into the map, and I realized that some areas need more detail than others. So I've also created detail maps for the bigger areas. I need some of you guys out there that really know these areas to add to these maps. I really think this will be a great resource for us.

Strawberry Res. Detail:

Powder Mountain Detail:

Are there any other big areas that need a detail map?

I'm working on putting this into the hotline. You call up and tell it where you want it to blow and how strong. Unfortunately, I'm running into some issues with the Environmental Protection Agency and the Department of Homeland Security.

These are excellent.
Someone should add The Reserve to the map of Skyline, though.
Also, it would be nice to get a name for the small gully leading up to Strawbs alongside Rt 40. I propose "Strawberry Narrows". Not a bad place to ride if you're desperate -- the wind usually blows through there even if the rest of Strawbs is nearly dead.
Thanks for the nice work, Josh.

These maps are an open collaboration, so please sign in and update them. Anybody with a Google account can edit them, and Google accounts are free.

In which case, someone who knows where the Reserve is can get said free Google account and add it in.

I think I have an idea, but would like to know for sure.
Thanks!

Ah. Gotcha. I have the same problem. I just kind of ruffed a bunch of things in today. With time it'll all get worked out.

Spots already got a few names, Cat-o nines, after the group of cat-o-nines that are by the pull over. I have also heard kenny call it some thing else perhaps he will kick in.

Since I'm so cheap I only have Internet access at work. I would like to post something on Pow Mow and Monte Cristo snowkite locations but I can't get to the Google site. However,mMy Friend Mark put up a great map of Pow Mow 2 years ago with overlays and even included Flattop mountain. I also have put something on this site about Monte several times in the past. I can't perform a search function but someone with access can get the info fairly easy and post it.

I can take care of Powder Mountain and Pineview when I get some time. I'd like to add Avon for snowkiting once one of you guys pioneer it with kite and snowmobile.

So I noticed on the map that Skyline has several lakes nearby. Is there any wind on those in the summer?
