Where to Ride 5/22

Residual North wind at Rush in the cold rainy air. Kiters could get 15M rides between Noon and 4 PM.
Some potential for North UL launches PM also, but you'd better figure on 8.5 M sails or 17M kites,
and stick to the North end of the lake.

Tomorrow looks cold, rainy, and windless, and so does Saturday. Think I'll head for Hood River.

Craig,
I'm in Hood River and in looking at weekend forecast am thinking of heading home as no wind here. Do you see something they don't. Maybe, no wind in HR is better than no wind in UT. BIG WIND YESTERDAY 7 M kites, looks a little lighter today 9M and lighter still Friday dropping totally off for the weekend.

Hi John,

The forecast in the Gorge doesn't look great either, but it will at least be a little warmer than in Utah,
and you can almost always scrounge out some rides somewhere up there, even with the rainy pattern.
I'd say, if you got the goods yesterday and today then you scored. Tomorrow, Saturday, and Sunday really
look windless in HR, and on the coast. Stuart and I will be up there for a week, so we'll hope for
some better winds after the weekend.
