Alright, Brent and I got the plane tickets, 10-23 to 10-29. $180 to San Antonio (Frontier Airlines), then 5 hour drive to SPI. Depending on wind, we may stop at Corpus Christi the first day, only 2 hours from San Antonio, and kite there. Then head down to SPI that night or in the morning.

trying to talk Wifey into heading down there as well. my favorite band is playing a show there on halloween and well, that would just be an awesome trip. now if i can only write it off somehow.
any tips on talking the wife into a trip to go see a show and kite for a few days? what are people doing for rooms? anyone want to go in on a condo or something?

rentals are so inexpensive that time of year.
WE have not committed to accomodations yet,
and will probably wait until a few weeks before leaving to lock down something.
Mike, your a newlywed, and you want to share rooms with stinky kitebums?????

Yeah Mike, what are you thinking wanting to shack up with kite bums as a newlywed?? But I'm up for whatever the cheapest lodging option is. I haven't made any lodging arrangements yet either. Condo would be fun.
We'll have to set up a couple gulf side down winders. We'll each have car, so should be easy to do.
Excited for the seafood too, fish covered with crawfish creole sauce at Daddy's, mmmm so tastie.

Brent started calling some places to stay and it could be difficult to find something. I would suggest looking now and not waiting until only a few weeks before. I guess Hurricane Dolly messed some places up down there. We were thinking about the WanaWana but they are not taking reservation until Dec now.
