Brian, I am going to be there. Please tell me exactly which location it is. I was there this Sunday at the park visitor center and only saw snow mobiles and no kite in sight.

Heather-
When do the 2009 Instincts arrive? I guess they're starting to arrive in Europe? How's the knee. Did you get an MRI yet?

Heather told me last night,
that my 09 Sport 9M will be here soon.
I can't wait to give it a fly,
I'll be looking to higher elevations for stronger winds...

Hi Everyone, Well it looks like even with the high pressure there could be some wind of Strawberry, I just talked with Kenny and he mentioned the last couple of days there has been North wind blowing through the area. I was at Skyline all afternoon and not an ounce of wind. We are all going to meet at the Co Op location, the turn out just north of Chicken Creek. I have lots of food and kites so hope to see everyone out there!

Heather,

It sounds like Brian is having Way Too Much Fun in Europe !!!!

You may want to meet at Strawberry River tomorrow, Saturday, between 1PM and 5PM. There is a new sensor there and it indicates that it has blown in the teens the last 3 days: Wed, Thur, Fri only from 2PM to 4PM. It could be just a micro-climate right there at Strawberry River??? Hopefully it will repeat for you tomorrow and the sensor has not been fibbing. Cheers, Whit

Whit,

I don't think the sensor is an anomaly because the Daniel's Summit meter has also been reading north wind as well. The real question tomorrow is will it repeat as the wind is forecasted to cant more to the east. I am not sure if it is a microclimate sort of wind or if the general area had wind. Tomorrow is definitely a hard one to predict. I don't think we will see any wind at the lower elevations, but there may be wind up higher. I have never heard of anyone riding a NE wind at Skyline or PowMow, but who knows it might work. Lake Creek is probably the best option, but you need a snowmobile or skin up 8 miles to get there (I am half-tempted to try it). Hopefully we will get lucky at Strawberry.

Kenny

Strawberry river tends to be lighter on any east movement, The wind meter is correct and for the last two years we have been riding the ridge lines on days with the same forcast as today .

i picked coop so we can also go acroos the road to CC also I would quess that the river will be loaded with sled head heads!

Come out and join us and put out the vibe! there is finnaly a demo day in our area come out and show your support so we can do it again and again!
