It's true. Looks like UL, Grantsville, Willard, Rush (for mud boarding), Mona, and Yuba all show promise. Start looking for the liquid water wind forecast starting Friday (which looks like planable
South wind right now).

I found a web site that is fishing related that indicates the water temp at UL. Currently it says the temp is 43.
http://www.fishingnotes.com/lakeinfo.php?id=30813I couldn't find a "last updated" date/time but I compared it's wind and temp readings to the Provo Meso West reading and they were the same so I think it's safe to assume this site is updated. Let me know if you think differently.

So Jason, Rush has enough water for kite boarding?

The North (Midway) end of DC has been ice free for a couple of weeks (except for the occasional wind-driven ice sheet breaking off the main ice shelf at the South (dam) end.) Judging from the DC cam, IB is probably not usable yet, but Charleston Bridge definitely is. George Ward and I both got water temp readings of about 44 yesterday.

I waded out about 1/3 of the way across and the water was just above my booties, so its about 8"-10" deep. It's kiteable, you might want to remove your fins or put small ones on if you have any. I wouldn't throw any giant jumps.
