I've seen some pix of both with windsurfers on them posted here before. If you have any pix, WS mag is looking for some.

Hey Craig I'm pretty sure that's not Sand Hollow, it might Quail Creek, but I kinda of think that it's Ken's Lake just outside of Moab.
I've never sailed there but the "Rockstar" and I have stayed at the campsite.

id say kens lake too. stopped by to check it out. To the left looks like the end of the dam, to the right looks like the rock with a fence by it which can be jumped to check out the rock.?. You can drive around to that point. Water was to the top when I was there so there is more exposed that I remember. From where the photog position, there is a nice sandy beach with bathroom. thats my guess
