Alright, now some of you may already know this... But up at Sulphur Creek Reservoir there is a "point of interest"... well, two of them; one on the west side of the highway right before you turn in on the road that goes to the entrance of the pavillion area where we launch and one on the east side of the road toward Evanston... These "Points of Interst" have plaques or boards with little illustrations and text that talk about the history of the valley and the offerings of the area...

Well, there is one of these boards that has some drawings showing usages of the reservoir, one is of a windsurfer. As Josh S. and I were leaving we stopped to look at it. We commented on how modern the gear in the drawing was. Pretty cool... The sailor had a Naish sail on a yellow board... I knew it looked familiar... I was just browsing our website here and took a look at the pictures again from the link called "Post Cards from Sulphur 2003"... I don't know how they got it, maybe they contacted you Craig, but that illustration is YOU my man! It is the "Point of Interest" on the west side of the highway there right by Sulphur... Check it out and compare it to the second picture down (your pic right below Layne)... Now if this is old news so be it... I hadn't heard about it... They couldn't have chosen better! Well in my opinion.

It was just cool to put it together... We'll see you up there...

(Little follow up: Craig didn't know about it... I'll bet some illustrator googled Windsurfing Sulphur Creek Photo and voile'. Kind of fun though)

Where to sail and "Famous Anus"

Well of course they'd pick our icon to represent the sport! Who else ? I can tell that the usual suspects are gearing up for a great weekend. Bucky may get the best of it as today looks like a liklihood for wind. The pattern seems to be accelerating and we're all looking for our leader's prognostication. Someone must have located a virgin!

We have seen that sign before and immediately identified the sailor as Craig. Pretty cool to be immortalized like that doing your favorite sport!
