I moved this topic over here, so that it doesn't go out to all the web app enabled people.

Next week is a long ways away, and you know how chaotic weather is, still, the predominant
Gorge pattern this Summer has been 5 Days of 5.0 or better, followed by 1 or 2 days of light wind,
or maybe no wind with serious heat. It looks like there's serious heat until Weds or Thurs of this week, so,
If I were guessing, I'd guess Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, will crank, followed by more mellow
4.7 Monday and Tuesday, followed by what they call light wind (5.5-6.5) for a couple of days.
There have been a few no winders this year, but even in the heat, the thermal has punched through
on most days and given up 5.5-4.7 conditions.

The best advise I ever got about Gorge Forecasting was from Bart. He said "Just forecast it's going to blow
during the Summer, you'll be right 70% of the time." In July and August that's pretty much true
statistically.

Well, as is typical, the Gorge Forecast has changed with big heat not coming till
this Saturday, so now, you can expect the Weekend to be pretty windless up there,
in fact, it looks to me like no winders till Monday of next week. Just the opposite
of what I thought 24 hours ago. ;*)
