Just watched the video....now I have a desire to SUP. Until now I couldn't see the logic in standing on a board getting bored, it looked like stand up kayaking to my eyes. I got into kitesurfing cuz I wanted to surf yet I lived inland. Kitesurfing allowed me to be a surfer in my own way. Now surfing a river on a SUP looks like even more freedom and fun.
The question is... how many waves are there like that, how long do they last, and how far do I have to drive to get there?
And can I get one that fits into my kiteboard bag please?
Windzup,
Brian Schenck

				Brian,
An inflatable SUP will roll right up and fit in a kite bag. There are a lot of boards designed to ride on rivers. The easiest way to ride river waves is on a kayak or river board. Standing up increases the difficulty but adds to the the fun and thrill, as you can imagine. Type in "river surfing" in youtube to check out the popular waves around the world.
Here are a few names of other river boards. Soft and inflatable will bounce off a lot of rocks.
